What is ANANSEFEST?

ANANSEFEST is a vibrant platform designed for children and young people aged 10–19. Through workshops, forums, and hands-on activities, participants use filmmaking and other audio-visual media to explore challenges in their communities and propose innovative solutions.

The Vision

Ananseman Play House is committed to fostering change through creative advocacy. We recognize that while adults may resist change, children and young people are powerful agents of transformation. They are the torchbearers of tomorrow, shaped by the knowledge and practices imparted to them by adults and their formal education.

These productions are created in a competitive environment that fosters excellence and teamwork.
