About Ananseman Playhouse

As a non-governmental organization, Ananseman Play House sought in 2015 to drum home the point of imbalance in the system through series of workshops and forums for children, young people and women on five of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The future belongs to the children and young people of today, so we believe they should be interested in the in what kind of legacy is bequeath to them.

Our mode of operation is to use the art of storytelling and creative social skills in filmmaking to tell the story of the children, young
people and women. Learning through playing while awarding those who excel in various categories as spelt out by Ananseman Play House.
Ananseman Play House places premium on the education and empowerment of children, young people and women as a sure way to effect lasting change on society. CHANGE is achievable but through consistent teaching and reminders on the objective of the teaching.

Excellence and investment in the arts and arts education must be nurtured for the next generation, and that is what Ananseman Play House is about.
We are encouraged by the enthusiasm of volunteers and the trainers of the children, young people and women, to make a difference.
